Meet Fatima Ihsan, Founder of Pink Soul Home Salon
Fatima Ihsan is a trained and certified makeup artist and hairstylist. She began learning makeup in Pakistan in 2016 and first worked in Dubai in 2017. She then spent about two years working professionally in Pakistan, returned to Dubai in 2022, and founded Pink Soul the same year.
Her salon years included busy days of 10 to 12 clients, which built the speed and consistency she brings to wedding mornings now. Across her career she has worked with more than 2,000 clients, including Pakistani, Indian, Arab and Western brides and guests. Her camera work includes makeup for Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.
Fatima does both the makeup and the hairstyling, so one artist handles the full look from start to finish, and she personally does every bridal booking. Her work centres on bridal makeup and hairstyling, camera-ready looks for photoshoots and celebrity clients, and private events. She also does party makeup, Arabic makeup, soft glam, full glam and wedding guest looks. Since 2022, Pink Soul has completed more than 200 bookings. Pink Soul has no physical salon. Fatima brings her full kit to the client's home, hotel suite or event venue, so brides and families get ready in one place, on their own schedule. The same model makes very early appointments possible for weddings and morning events.

Traditions and languages
Four Traditions, Four Languages
Fatima has worked with Pakistani, Indian, Arab and Western clients, and each tradition asks for something different. Consultations happen in English, Urdu, Hindi or Punjabi, so a bride, her mother and her sisters can each explain what they want in the language they find easiest.

Step by step
How a Pink Soul Appointment Works
Share Your References
Fatima starts every booking by asking for reference pictures. Clients without references talk the look through with her on WhatsApp before the day. A deposit secures the date.
Arrival and Setup
Fatima arrives 20 minutes before the start time, sets up her kit and works with clean, sanitised tools at every booking.
Skin Prep and the Look
Products are chosen for each client's skin type and the look. A bride takes 2 to 3 hours, and each family member or guest about 2 hours for makeup and hairstyling.
Finishing Touches
Lashes, jewellery setting and hijab setting are done where needed. Client photos are shared online only with the client's permission.
